OBSERVABILITY PLATFORM
Personal homepage

Personal homepage

After you sign in, Observability Platform displays your personal home page. Your home page initially starts with six panels displaying recently viewed or favorite resources. New users will often have six empty panels.

To return to the home page from anywhere in Observability Platform, click the Chronosphere icon at the top of the navigation menu.

Recent resources

Viewing resources in Observability Platform adds those resources to the relevant panel on your home page, up to the most recent ten. For example, viewing any dashboard adds a link to that dashboard to the Recent dashboards panel.

Panels for recent resources:

Recent comments

The Recent comments panel is different from other recent content panels. It displays the most recent comments by you or other Observability Platform users.

These comments are filterable by:

  • Search by common keyword to find comments by keyword.
  • Activate the toggle for @mentions to filter to your mentions.
  • Enter or select a name from the Filter by author list to filter for a user.
  • Enter or select a value from the Filter by type to filter for comments left on the selected entity type.

Favorite resources

Your favorite resources are those you’ve selected either from the recent resources panels or from their areas of Observability Platform. Adding favorite resources helps you access the resources you need the most, faster.
