New Relic destination plugin

New Relic is a cloud-based logging platform that provides real-time log analytics and monitoring capabilities for your applications and infrastructure. The New Relic Logs Destination Plugin in Calyptia Core allows you to seamlessly integrate your telemetry data with New Relic Logs, enabling you to store, analyze, and visualize your log data using New Relic's powerful logging tools. With the New Relic Logs destination plugin, you can configure your Calyptia Core pipeline to send your log data to New Relic Logs.

Configuration parameters

The New Relic Logs destination plugin provides these configuration parameters.

General

New Relic API KeyYour key for data ingestion. The API key is also called the ingestion key. For more details about how to generate, see the official documentation (opens in a new tab). From a configuration perspective, either an api_key or an license_key is required. New Relic suggests using api_key.

Advanced

New Relic License KeyOptional authentication parameter for data ingestion. New Relic suggests you to use the api_key instead. License Key information (opens in a new tab).
CompressionCompresses the payload in GZIP format, Datadog supports and recommends setting this to gzip.
New Relic Base URIFull Address of New Relic API endpoint. By default the value points to the US endpoint. If you want to use the EU endpoint you can set this key to the following value: https://log-api.eu.newrelic.com/log/v1.

Security and TLS

TLSEnable or disable TLS/SSL support.
TLS Certificate ValidationTurn TLS/SSL certificate validation on or off. TLS must be on for this setting to be enabled.
TLS Debug LevelSet TLS debug verbosity level. Accepts these values: 0 (No debug), 1 (Error), 2 (State change), 3 (Informational), 4 (Verbose).
CA Certificate File PathAbsolute path to CA certificate file.
Certificate File PathAbsolute path to certificate file.
Private key File PathAbsolute path to private key file.
Private Key Path PasswordOptional password for tls.key_file file.
TLS SNI Hostname ExtensionHostname to be used for TLS SNI extension.

Advanced networking

DNS ResolverSelect the primary DNS connection type (TCP or UDP).
Prefer IPv4Prioritize IPv4 DNS results when trying to establish a connection.
KeepaliveEnable or disable Keepalive support.
Keepalive Idle TimeoutSet maximum time allowed for an idle Keepalive connection.
Max Connect TimeoutSet maximum time allowed to establish a connection, this time includes the TLS handshake.
Max Connect Timeout Log ErrorOn connection timeout, specify if it should log an error. When disabled, the timeout is logged as a debug message.
Max Keepalive RecycleSet maximum number of times a keepalive connection can be used before it is retired.
